Your first consultation.
Above all, the first consultation is a time for listening and discussion. Dr Roig takes the time to understand your expectations, assess your situation and explain his findings to you, using images displayed directly on the screen. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your situation and the options available to you, with no obligation to proceed with treatment.
What to bring
- Identity card (yours, or your child’s if you are attending on their behalf)
- Any recent X-rays you may have (panoramic, long-cone scan). These can also be emailed in advance.
- List of current medications, if applicable
- Results of previous examinations relating to your dental records
- Any relevant information regarding your supplementary insurance
What happens
- Comprehensive medical history: Dr Roig takes the time to listen to you and understand your situation
- Clinical examination: intra- and extra-oral inspection, analysis of your bite
- iTero 3D scanner: digital impression without impression material if required
- X-rays: panoramic and/or cephalometric if necessary
- Presentation of the diagnosis: clear explanations, treatment options, quote
- If necessary, a detailed clinical report is provided to the patient to ensure continuity of care with other practitioners (maxillofacial surgeon, speech and language therapist, referring dentist)

Understanding your orthodontic budget
Financial transparency is one of our core commitments at LYNE. You will always be provided with a detailed quote before any treatment begins, and our team will assist you, wherever possible, with the administrative procedures involved in claiming from your mutual insurance scheme or supplementary insurance provider.
Initial consultation
This first appointment includes a thorough clinical examination, intraoral and extraoral photographs, as well as a 3D intraoral scan (iTero) where necessary to visualise your dental condition in high definition.
The cost of orthodontic treatment
The cost of a full course of treatment varies from patient to patient: every person is unique, and each body type changes at its own pace. The exact amount will be communicated to you and explained in detail during your initial consultation, following a clinical examination and an assessment of your situation.
Payment plans available
To help you proceed with your treatment with peace of mind, we offer instalment payment plans at no extra cost. The terms will be agreed with you when the quote is presented.
