What is invisible orthodontics?
A discreet treatment, designed to fit into your daily life.
Invisible orthodontics relies on a series of clear aligners, custom-made using a 3D digital scanner. Each aligner gradually moves your teeth into their ideal position, whilst remaining virtually invisible.
Today, this technique can be used to treat the majority of orthodontic cases, in both teenagers and adults. At Lyne, every treatment is fully personalised and supervised by Dr Elena Roig from the initial assessment right through to the end of treatment.

Almost invisible, the aligners allow you to correct the alignment of your teeth discreetly.

Freedom
Aligners are removable: you can eat whatever you like and carry on with your routine without any dietary restrictions.
Easier oral hygiene
You can continue to brush your teeth and floss as normal, without any obstacles or extra hassle.
More flexible follow-up
Check-ups are generally less frequent than with fixed braces, making it easier to organise your treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our answers
Are Invisalign® aligners really invisible?
The aligners are made from clear medical-grade plastic. The vast majority of people do not notice them during a conversation. At close range, they may be slightly noticeable, but they remain very discreet in everyday life.
How many hours a day should they be worn?
Ideally between 20 and 22 hours a day, removing them for meals and when brushing your teeth. Wearing them regularly is key to ensuring the treatment progresses as planned.
Is it painful?
In the first few days after fitting each new aligner, you may feel a slight pressure: this is a sign that the treatment is working. This sensation subsides quickly, and common painkillers are sufficient if needed.
Can I eat normally?
Yes. You remove your aligners to eat and drink (except water), which gives you complete freedom in what you eat: there are no forbidden foods. You simply need to brush your teeth before putting them back in.
Invisalign® or braces – which should I choose?
Both options are effective depending on the individual case. The choice depends on your clinical situation, your lifestyle and your preferences. During the initial consultation, our specialist will outline the options best suited to your situation and help you make an informed decision.
Do you have any questions about your situation?
An appointment will allow us to assess your case in detail and determine the most suitable treatment.
