Dr Elena Roig Farga
Dr Elena Roig Farga · Orthodontist and Cofounder of Lyne
A specialist orthodontist recognised by the INAMI, Elena specialises in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics. She holds a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, an international PhD awarded Cum Laude, and teaches at university.
She treats children, teenagers and adults, using a personalised approach and modern techniques, from interceptive orthodontics to more complex orthodontic treatments.

Born in Uccle into a family with deep roots in the municipality spanning several generations, Philippe brings to Lyne an entrepreneurial vision, rigorous management and in-depth knowledge of the local community, complementing Elena’s clinical expertise.
After a career in international finance in Panama and subsequently at the helm of Paperland, the family business founded by his father in Uccle in 1976, he chose to put his experience at the service of this project, alongside Elena.

Elena’s career path: an exacting education
The title of specialist in orthodontics recognised by the INAMI requires several years of specialised training dedicated specifically to orthodontics following a degree in general dentistry.
Dr Elena Roig completed this journey with an international PhD awarded Cum Laude, while developing an active clinical and academic practice between Barcelona and Brussels. Alongside her clinical practice, she teaches on the Master’s programme in Orthodontics at UIC Barcelona, where she remains involved in research, teaching and the development of orthodontic techniques.
A polyglot who speaks Spanish, Catalan, French and English, she welcomes her patients into a professional and caring environment, with particular attention to education, listening and the quality of the final result.

Planmeca CBCT
A complete view of your dental and bone anatomy, in two and three dimensions.
CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) provides detailed three-dimensional imaging when clinically indicated as part of orthodontic diagnosis. While a conventional X-ray provides a two-dimensional view, CBCT allows us to explore the volume: roots, alveolar bone, temporomandibular joints and airways.
- Enhanced diagnosis: detection of root resorption, impacted teeth and certain bony asymmetries that are difficult to visualise in 2D.
- Precise surgical planning, particularly for surgical orthodontics and certain combined treatments.
- Controlled radiation dose: a low-radiation protocol used only when the examination is clinically justified.
- Integrated 2D imaging: digital panoramic and cephalometric radiography performed with the same device.
iTero Lumina intraoral scanner
Digital impressions without impression material, for greater comfort and high precision.
No more uncomfortable traditional alginate impressions. The iTero Lumina is a next-generation intraoral scanner that accurately captures the geometry of your teeth and gums in a matter of minutes, using a fine wand moved around the mouth. The result: an accurate 3D digital model of your dentition.
- Comfort: no impression material, a quick and non-invasive procedure, particularly suitable for children.
- Precision: digital models can be used to manufacture aligners, retainers and removable appliances, as well as for treatment planning.
- Immediate visualisation: the scan appears on screen in real time, making it easier to explain the diagnosis and allowing patients to visualise their situation.
- Long-term digital record: impressions are archived and can be accessed to support long-term follow-up.
Formlabs dental 3D printer
In-house production of bespoke devices, without intermediaries, for greater responsiveness.
3D printing allows certain devices and models required for orthodontic treatment to be produced directly in the practice. At LYNE, this technology offers greater responsiveness and better quality control.
- Study models: reproduction of dental anatomy for treatment planning and patient consultation.
- Aligners and retainers: manufactured from digital data obtained through the iTero scan, tailored to each patient.
- Bespoke orthodontic devices: removable appliances, night-time appliances and surgical guides, depending on the indication.
- Reduced turnaround times: for certain routine cases, in-house production limits exchanges with an external laboratory and allows for a more responsive service.
